As Russia continues to wage war on Ukraine, it’s hard not to watch the news and feel paralyzed — paralyzed by horror, sadness, and the ultimate feeling of being totally helpless. But while it can certainly feel like there’s really not much we can do overseas, that’s not entirely true.
Along with spreading awareness, contributing to reputable charities, and pressuring politicians, the Canadian Beauty Industry is planning a campaign to help support Beauty Pros in Ukraine. pair Canadian mentors with Beauty Pros in Ukraine to help rebuild their businesses. A team of volunteers will travel to Ukraine with all the essentials, products, passion, and knowledge to help rebuild and recover this important industry.
The “Beauty Stands Together” Initiative was launched by Canadian volunteers who want to show support and ultimately help to rebuild the Beauty Industry in Ukraine when the war is over. We are seeking industry volunteers who are interested in joining together to help make an impact.
There are many planned initiatives including fundraising events to support various organizations and causes in Ukraine. Our long-term goal is to pair Canadian mentors with Beauty Pros in Ukraine to help rebuild their businesses. A team of volunteers will travel to Ukraine with all the essentials, products, passion, and knowledge to help rebuild and recover this important industry.
